Today in literacy we learned how to write a Sestina poem this is how it works-
you write six sentences, each sentence has six words, the first sentence is something you saw, the second is something you remember, the third is a person you were with, fourth is something that you made up, the fifth is the reason you went on the journey, the last sentence is something completely random this is mine:
I saw the floating bubbles above
I remember the small pop sound
I looked across to Daisy’s bubble-hair
Majestic glowing jellyfish fell from clouds
I was hallucinating, losing air, Drowning
A dinosaur fell from the sky.
that's all for today, see you in my next post!
